SQUARE PILLOW CASE
Here's what you need to make one
*Fabric of course depends on the size of the pillow you are gonna make, i made 16x16inch pillow, so you will be needing two layers of 17x17inch fabric, well if you are making a smaller pillow say like 14x14inch just add 1inch for the seam allowance, means you will be needing 15 x15 inch fabric.
*Matching thread for your fabric.

This is the wrong side of the front piece of the pillow measuring 17x17 inch. |
This is the wrong side of the back piece, I have cut into two unequal halves to make it like a envelope and sealed the edges by folding 1/4inch twice, so make sure you cut the back piece leaving extra couple of inches. |
Pin it along the edges, if you can sew it without pinning just go for it, since this is my first one so i wanted to be extra careful, so i pinned it. |
Sew it along the edges leaving 1/2inch allowance, and double stitch around the corners for extra secure. |
Cut across the corners like this, so that when you insert the pillow or poly fil your corners are crisp and sharp. |
Now its time to flip your fabric to the right side, vola! this is how it will look like when your done. |
Press along the seam and the body of the pillow case to get rid of the fabric fold. |
Insert the pillow and you are done. |
This is how the finished pillow would look like. |
